How to Register

All participants are kindly requested to register in advance by completing and submitting the Registration Form and by paying the appropriate fees. Registration via the Online Registration Form is highly recommended   However for manual registration please note that the Registration Form is to be used to register one participant only and, if applicable, his/her accompanying person(s). Individual registration of the accompanying person is not allowed. For those wishing to register this way, registration will be accepted by fax or email to the Conference Secretariat on +27 21 559 4574/ 086 692 7220 or lesley@cebisaconferences.co.za and become valid upon confirmation of the registration fee transfer received by the Conference Secretariat.

Online Registration

Please use the Online Registration Form (http://www.geoafrica2009.org/geoafrica_2009/RegParty.aspx) to register, you may register delegates, accompanying persons and Exhibition Staff using the on-line system.

Each participant registering online will receive a PRN (Personal Registration Number) at the end of registration procedure. Please make a printout of your Registration Review where you will find your PRN! An email confirming the registration and payment details will be immediately sent to each participant. If you do not receive the email please contact the Conference Secretariat.

Other Registration Options

A PDF/Word version of the Registration Form may be downloaded from the website. The Registration Form in PDF format is to be used for registration by fax only. Each participant registering by fax or traditional mail will receive an email with the registration details and PRN (Personal Registration Number) to be included in details of payment which is to be made not later than one week upon submission of the Registration Form. If you do not receive the email please contact the Conference Secretariat. Please do not send any payments without including the PRN in the details of payment. Such payments cannot be identified.

GIGSA/ IGS Members Full Registration - ZAR 4900
After 30 June, this price will be increased to ZAR 5500.

IGS Corporate Members
Full Registration - ZAR 4700
After 30 June, this price will be increased to ZAR 5300.

Non-Member Full Registration - ZAR 5300
After 30 June, this price will be increased to ZAR 5900.

Exhibitor Stand Staff 1 – Included in stand fee. This complemenarty Exibitor Registration includes Welcome Function and meals during Exhibit, does not include Theme Dinner, proceedings or technical session participation. Exhibitor
Additional Stand Staff Representatives – ZAR 1500 per person, includes and Welcome Function and meals during Exhibit, does not include Theme Dinner, proceedings or technical session participation. For more information regarding Exhibitor Registration review the Exhibitor Sales Manual.

* Exhibitors requiring access to tecnhical sessions and proceedings must register as full delegates, they are then not required to also register as Stand Staff.

Confirmation

Upon receipt of the correct registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration/invoice. Please bring this confirmation together with proof of payment to the conference as proof of your registration. Please note that registration for the various tours and events will be confirmed upon payment on “a first come, first served” basis, and capacity may be restricted.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refund of registration fees, less 30% for administrative charges, must be applied for in writing by 31 July 2009 to the Conference Secretariat.  After this date no refund will be possible. Registrants may transfer their registration to a colleague at any time.

Responsibility

By registering, the participant agrees, accepts, and acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the holding of the Conference be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by force majeure, or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes.
